Abbreviations -

The following abbreviations will be used in this cookbook, as in others:

1 teaspoon = 1 tsp.

1 tablespoon = 1 Tbs.

You should also note that when I refer to minced onion in my recipes, I am referring to
the dehydrated type that comes in jars. These are not quite the same as real onions.
However, if you are like me, you will not use enough onion at a time to justify buying
one.

It will get old and sprout before you use it. So buy a jar of minced onions and you
will have some on hand whenever you need it.
